“The Kings of Summer” star Gabriel Basso is set to play one of the lead roles in upcoming courtroom drama film “The Whole Truth,” opposite Daniel Craig and Renee Zellweger, according to Deadline.
The film stars Craig as a skilled defense attorney fighting to get his teenage defendant acquitted for the murder of his wealthy father. Basso will play the defendant, who is described as a confused and conflicted young man. “The Whole Truth” is set to start filming in Boston this month under the direction of Courtney Hunt.
Basso can be seen in the upcoming “Barely Lethal” with Hailee Steinfeld, and his previous credits include “The Big C,” “Super 8,” and “The Kings Of Summer.”
